IFLAC in Pehuajó hits the headlines

    Text: Solveig Hansen

Like so many NGOs, IFLAC is run by volunteers, and a little publicity now and then boosts the motivation. It is not every day we make it to the headlines, but we did in Pehuajó, Argentina, when the local IFLAC members set up a contest to find poems for the IFLAC Children’s Peace Train Poetry Festival 2014, El Tren de los Niños de la Paz, Festival de Poesía.

The article basically outlines the purpose and the submission rules of the Poetry Festival. The picture shows writer Marita Ragozza, IFLAC Delegate in Pehuajó.

Well done! We look forward to reading your poems. A selection will be translated into English and published in A Child for Peace anthology by the end of 2014. All the participants will receive A Child for Peace certificate.
