      Dear Gillian Sims,

Thank you for liking our children’s peace poetry/story contest announcement on our website! My name is Ariana Caraffa and I am the Assistant for the International Forum for the Literature and Culture of Peace (IFLAC).

We just visited your blog page and looked up your books. We are impressed by your book on manners for children and are happy to read that you also believe that children should be taught peace and harmony through poetry.

We would be very grateful if you could send us poems and stories about peace written by children. Please forward our announcement to any children’s organizations or to any children you are in contact with. The deadline for the contest is the 22nd of December.

      In Peace,

      Ariana Caraffa, IFLAC Assistant
      Ada Aharoni, IFLAC Founding President
