    Poetry Reading

    Text: Solveig Hansen

Turn on your speakers and enjoy an international selection of Ada Aharoni’s poems, read and sung.

This video clip shows Ada reading poems in Hebrew and French at the International Festival of Peace Poets in Paris in 2009:

Hungarian/Romanian IFLAC Director Tatomir Ion-Marius has translated some of Ada’s poems into Hungarian and Romanian, and he reads them beautifully:

Cosmic Woman in Hungarian and Romanian, and Peace is a Woman and a Mother in Hungarian and Romanian.

(English lyrics: Cosmic Woman and Peace is a Woman and a Mother)

The background music is from Ada’s CD To Haim – To Life: Love Poems, dedicated to her late husband, Haim Aharoni, who passed away in 2006.

    Also from the CD:

Our Beautiful New Home – a love poem to Haim, read by Ada

A Green Week – sung by Anat Yagan in Hebrew (English lyrics), music: Yigal Alfassi

Why? – sung by: Revital Levanon, music: Yigal Alfassi
